In 1899, Dr. Adolph Pfingst established the first eye care practice in Kentucky, which evolved into Kentucky Eye Care.
Besides being the oldest, this group practice is also one of the largest in the state, with seven doctors and three locations, including Louisville offices in the East End and Highlands areas, as well as in Shelbyville.
